What's the matter?

Life Struggles?
A Lack of Self-Discipline?
Not Putting Faith to Work?

etc., etc, etc.,...

Been there done that. I'm GUILTY!

However, REDEEMED! Praise God.

We all go through struggles, I believe a huge percentage of us have a lack of self discipline and on a daily basis, we really don't put faith to work.

I've learned to count my blessings. To praise God for waking up! Having a roof over my head, food to eat and clothes on my back. I repent everyday for things I know of and the ones I don't know. In doing so, I often find peace.

God is a forgiving God. He understands us because he made us. While we should continually seek His word, He knows our hearts, minds, bodies and soul. He knows whether we seek to go about our daily chores with the right intent. I believe this is when He can use us mostly.

As I was working today, I listened to Tommy Tenney (Author of the God Chaser's and Minister), he said that He knows the only part of his church service that God is pleased with is...

The Worship Service!

Hmmm, something to think about. I love to worship God. The word specifically states that "God inhabits the praises of His people." I desire to make Him happy too!

I've learned to worship God during the struggles, lack of discipline and when my faith was not quite "at work." In doing so here's what comes to mind through study...

"The best way to correct a bad habit is to replace it with a good habit."
Luke 18:1 says to pray and not to lose heart. You have to believe that God hears you. A lack of faith keeps the majority of us from ever receiving what God promises us. God loves us. He can't bless us unless we are able to come to Him unre-servedly and believe His Word and His promises.

Trust Him - God will bless us abundantly if we will only TRUST Him.

Spending time with God by studying and meditating on His Word is something we should strive to do. We must believe so throroughly that God loves us and cares about us that when we ask, we expect to receive. (I'm in the process...)

Spending time in God's Word is evidence of a commitment to God's way and will open new avenues of blessings in your life.

"Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17
